The use of stucco as a new contemporary expression
FROM SCULPTURE TO FRESCO
After sculpture training at the School of Arts in Braine l’Alleud, in the workshop of Philippe Desomberg, Pierre Fabry developed his own modeling technique, using crushed marbles and resins. He is interested in a series of fresco styles, nourished by a so-called ‘figurative abstraction’ approach where landscapes, natural environments, urban volumes or aquatic depths, are often a part of.

4 ELEMENTS
Water, Earth, Air, Fire: The 4 elements bring gushing and explosions, deep plowing, scars and scarifications to his work.
LIME, CELLULOSE AND HEMP
Pierre Fabry develops his writing and his language based on his own coatings formulas, which most of the time associate quicklime or partially extinct lime, pigments, mineral fillers and quartz.
